Max 2024

Max proved to be an amazing truffle detector in 2024 with very little training. Bella was poisoned at the end of the 2023 season and Max had limited training that year. This photo shows the dirty nose and the expectation of a chicken reward. We developed a system where we would hunt for truffles and place flags where Max indicated. The next day I would go and dig for the truffles (hard work!). Max was 100% where the flags were placed.
